| Cold Drawn Seamless CDS | Is normally drawn to O.D. and I.D. dimensions and produced to standard dimensional tolerances. Offers good quality. |
| Hot Finished Seamless HFS | Lower in cost than cold drawn and most applicable where precise dimensions and surface quality are of secondary importance. It is manufactured to O.D. and wall dimensions. |
| Drawn Over Mandrel DOM | An electric resistance welded tube tested for soundness of weld and drawn through a die and over a mandrel. Used as a quality replacement for cold drawn seamless because of close wall tolerances, superior finish and lower cost. Normally drawn to O.D. and I.D. dimensions. |
| Butt Welded | Produced from continuous welded pipe and made from low carbon steel. Machinability and mechanical properties are reduced as a result of the lower carbon content. |
| Structural Tubing | A low cost, high strength to weight ratio tubing that can be easily welded, formed, punched and drilled. Available in square and rectangular shapes. |
