Deburring Is Removing Slag From The Metals Surface

Thompson Metals and Tubing offer a deburring service for our customers. In the process of cutting metal, slag (the bits of molten metal removed from the burning process) attach themselves to the metals surface. TMT will clean the metals surface "deburring" using a hammer and chisel to chip away large pieces. A hand held grinder is used to clean off all the edges of the cut and used to remove any slag off of the metals surface. Please call for additional information.
